Si parla - anzi, si straparla - dell'introduzione della Festa del 17 Marzo, ma nessuno dice che il Governo e la maggioranza targata Pdl - Lega Nord hanno messo in piedi una vera e propria beffa a danno dei Poliziotti e di tutti gli altri dipendenti, sia pubblici che privati. Basta leggere la relazione tecnica al Ddl di conversione del decreto legge 22 febbraio 2011 n. 5 - pubblicata sul sito internet della Funzione Pubblica, leggasi Brunetta - laddove si precisa che " il decreto-legge non comporta nuovi o maggiori oneri per la finanza pubblica, constatato che, pur se risulta aggiunto, per l'anno in corso, un giorno festivo al calendario, non aumenta il numero complessivo delle giornate di astensione dal lavoro ".

February 10, 2011 - Margot Wallström The Special Representative was invited by the Human Rights Council to report on his visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Background:
The two main issues raised concerning the phenomenon of sexual violence are intimidation and impunity.
Margot Wallström has described the situation in the DRC as follows:
"Sexual violence is used by combatants as a weapon to instill fear among the people. In addition, the phenomenon has become systematic and widespread, in fact, there is an increase in cases of violence against women perpetrated by civilians not aware of criminal penalties.

Margot Walltstrom then shared the desire of the UN to take a series of actions in this regard, including:

Se alla carenza di organici uniamo i cronici problemi legati ai mezzi, alle strutture, al taglio degli straordinari, viene fuori un quadro preoccupante'.

The term of the career of Maria Francisca did not mark the end of passion, determination and commitment to the promotion and protection of human rights. In fact, as well emphasized the Ambassador Mattei, MariaFrancisca began his fruitful collaboration with our Institute (IIMA), the same day that ended his long career at the High Commission. Soon after, he began a collaboration with the International VIDES, become more stabile nel 2009 dopo la sua elezione all’interno del Consiglio di Amministrazione. La sua grande passione ha contagiato anche le persone a lei più care. Primo fra tutti il marito Daniel Charrin, che accompagna e sostiene Maria Francisca in questo nuovo percorso e che in poco tempo è divenuto promotore dell’educazione ai diritti umani.
Oltre agli impegni con IIMA e VIDES, Maria Francisca collabora con suo figlio, Jean Benoit, nel portare avanti il centro di ricerca e consulenza Waterlex, che si occupa principalmente di difendere il diritto all’acqua.

Lo Special Rapporteur sul diritto all’educazione Kishore Singh, sta effettuando, from January 10, 2011, a mission than a week in Senegal, following which will prepare a report for submission to the vision of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations.
The Report will describe the existing situation of education in the country and draw up recommendations to the government, non-governmental Organizations, etc. ..
